Biography

Dr. Rhonda Skaggs is a Professor Emeritus in the Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business Department. Her recent research has been in the areas of irrigation and water resources, natural resource and economic impacts of changing agricultural structure, and impermanence syndrome in western public land ranching. She has worked with the NSF-funded Jornada Basin LTER project, and also has collaborated with scientists in NMSU's Department of Civil Engineering, and in Mexico. Her countries of expertise are Mexico and Argentina.
