Biography

Dr. Gabriela Moreno is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Language and Linguistics. Dr. Moreno’s areas of research and interest are methodology and pedagogy of heritage languages, language socialization, languages in contact, instruction and acquisition of Spanish in the U.S.  Her research interests include cultural and literary studies along the U.S.-Mexico border, performance studies, and gender studies.
