Biography

Dr. Faruk Arslan serves as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems (IS) at New Mexico State University. He has 17 years of industry experience in the U.S.A., Turkey, Mexico, and various European countries, emphasizing business analytics, information systems development, project management, and process improvement. His teaching interests include business analytics, database design and development, system analysis and design, IS project management, global information systems, and business applications development. His research has been published in the Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Information Resources Management Journal, International Journal of Information Security and Privacy, Journal of Information Privacy and Security, and AMCIS, GITMA, and Decision Sciences conference proceedings. His research interests include global diversity of information systems (IS), specifically, adoption, diffusion, and use of IS, convergence and divergence of information privacy behavior, and how IS drives business value around the globe.
