Biography

Dr. Daniel Villa is an Emeritus Professor for the Languages and Linguistics Department with a primarily focus in Spanish. His areas of research and interest are Southwest Spanish, The Maintenance and Loss of Spanish in the US, Teaching Spanish to Heritage Speakers, The Integration of Economic and Linguistic Theories in the US, The Demographics of Spanish Speakers in the US.
